Every country in the world has a different outlet styles – one of 12 different styles to be exact.
The outlet types are named alphabetically, from A to O.
In order to use plugs from one country – or type – in another country, we need adapters.

Outlet Style: Type E |
Description: Type E has two round pins with an additional slot above and/or below the pins for the grounding knob (which is in the outlet itself). |
Locations: France, Belgium, Poland, Slovakia, and Czechia |

Description: Type F has two round pins with an additional slot above and/or below the pins for the grounding knob (which is in the outlet itself). |
Locations: Russia and other European countries, except for the UK and Ireland |

Description: The design of the Type G outlet has three flat prongs. |
Locations: UK, Ireland, Malta, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore |

Description: This outlet design has three round prongs set in a lower configuration than the Type D outlet. |
Locations: Israel and Palestine |

Description: Type I has two or three flat prongs on an angle, rather than straight up and down. |
Locations: Australia, New Zealand, China, and Argentina |

Outlet Style: Type J |
Description: The design for Type J has three round pins that are placed closely together. |
Locations: Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Rwanda |

Description: The Type K outlet has two round prongs; one of the two prongs look like a semi-circle. |

Description: This outlet design has three prongs set in a row. |
